Adam Levine Treats Young Fan With Down Syndrome To A Maroon 5 Concert

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine helped the dreams of a Superfan 10 years old, come true on Monday night.

Christopher Warner, a young resident of Maryland with Down syndrome and self-proclaimed number one fan Levine, got the surprise of his life when his favorite musicians came to invite you to a live show.

"He has only been fascinated with Maroon 5 and especially Adam Levine," Avery Stanert a special education teacher in the school of Warner, told TODAY.com. "He loves to hear music during work breaks. Take pictures of them. He just absolutely loves them."

To show how much I loved the band Warner, Stanert was commissioned to raise a compilation video on YouTube showing young fans singing along to hits from Maroon 5, watch music videos of the band and wholeheartedly calling Levine.

Local news stations picked up the viral video, but it was hot 99.5 The Kane Show that got Levine and the rest of the band directly involved.

"They organized backstage passes and tickets," Stanert said. "Immediately called the label and worked everything."

Warner, her mother and several teachers at the school were given VIP access to Maroon 5 concert at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC, where Warner finally come face to face with his longtime idol was found.

When meeting with Levine, the young man panicked and squatted on the floor in an effort to hide. But that does not startle Levine at all, which suggested that all follow suit and sit right next to him.

"We have been very pleased to see as Down syndrome has received much attention for this," Stanert shared about the experience. "Children with Down syndrome are like their peers."
